My client is at the forefront of core banking software and digital banking and one of the world's biggest provider of core banking SaaS and Business Process Outsourcing. They are already a well established business in mainland Europe working with over 150 Banks and FIs and have an enviable reputation, pioneering SaaS delivery for their award-winning core banking software.

The UK is set to grow exponentially in the next 3-5 years, with a particular focus on SaaS and Business Process Outsourcing. As they become a more client centric services organisation, they need to hire a Head of Service Management, to take ownership of service management and bring together the various components parts currently being delivered across multiple business areas and geographies, to create a World Class service management capability for the UK. This is an exceptional career opportunity for someone who is a highly experienced service delivery professional, who would relish the opportunity to roll their sleeves up initially to build a service management capability for the UK from scratch, then run, grow and evolve it alongside the rapid growth of the business, initially in the UK but potentially across Europe/ Globally.

Reporting to the MD, you will be a dynamic, driven, results Senior Service Manager looking for the next career step, or a Head of Service Management, with a successful background in Banking, with broad experience of infrastructure management, applications management and SaaS. You will be someone who wants to feel part of the business and play a lead role in the growth of the services business, take accountability for outcomes and also feel responsible when things don't go right. The working environment is diverse, collaborative and encourages people to share their ideas, giving real autonomy. You need to be someone who really thinks about things, has ideas, works out how to solve problems and is a self starter. Commercially aware, with a highly collaborative approach to successful global delivery and service management, engaging with key stakeholders, service providers & 3rd parties. Experience of driving change management, business transformation, service transition, managed services, problem solving & IT escalation issues.

The UK is on a huge growth trajectory, having doubled sales revenue last year, and feels very much like a start up. The UK business is left to operate autonomously and this is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in the future of business.
